Future ~ where are we headed?

It is difficult to determine when MSHP Trooper, now Corporal, Dale Reuter began to speak at the NWMO Docudrama – he has been a staple to the entire success of this program for many, many years and we are VERY excited to announce after not having the event at all, we are working to have Dale be our main speaker again this year. If you have never had the opportunity to hear Dale address the students about the dangers of distracted driving or his own personal stories over the course of his career – we encourage you to take advantage of this year’s event to hear him … it is NOT a speech you will forget anytime soon.

New in 2023, the Docudrama has partnered with the Pickering Lions Club and the event will move to Pickering, MO and be hosted at the arena just inside the city limits of Pickering. This partnership helps resolve the most pressing issue facing the NWMO Docudrama over the past few years – lack of availability to portable bleachers. The arena offers plenty of space to stage the “vehicle crash”, parking, bathrooms on site, building for our “actors” to prepare their outfits and moulage. Just around the corner from the arena is Wray Salvage and their location is ideal for helping move vehicles around to make the scene as realistic as possible.
